Curious if anyone makes something like a drop 17 bat? I would be interested in a 30 drop 17 bat for one hand drills. Currently using an old tee ball bat for one arm stuff but if I could find a cheap 30/13 it might pick one up.

Drop 13 is the most I've seen. DD1 used a Worth Storm -13 years ago when she first started slapping. You can still find them for a decent price. The older models are cheaper of course.

Worth Storm -13

DD2 does all of her one handed drills with her standard bat. She just chokes way up.

I am aware of the drop -13 bats but those are still to heavy for a 9 year old if I want a bat that is similar in length to her normal bat.

I was watching a Matt Lisle video where he suggests that using a similar length bat to the players regular bat for one arm drills. She is currently swinging a 29/18 -11 L.S. LXT. Which is to heavy for one arm drills at 9 years old. Choking up defeats the purpose with her regular bat. Looks like I will have to stick with the 25/12 -13 tee ball bat that we are currently using.

Better than a high drop bat is Hitter/Howard Carriers one hand pvc bat. I'm trying to find the instructions to make them. I know I have them and have made a bunch of them.
