We left a "great organization" because of poor coaching on some of the teams. It was without a doubt the best decision we ever made. We're with a much smaller organization for the 2nd year with quality coaching, great girls, great parents and plenty of opportunities for DD to be recruited.
A big name can help but it isn't the only way to get noticed.

Its also a pain to see that the HC does not move his daughter from the position she is at because she isnt ready for that position but he shits on everyone else and keeps her there.well the good thing is a lot of the other coaches if not all of them all agree he is a pain in the rear

Are things really this bad, or do you just need to vent?. A coach favoring his DD, a teen with attitude and the parent/coach not cracking down on it right away often happen to some extent. It’s annoying, but does it rise to the level that it’s too much to take? Some of your other issues seem trivial. Girls rarely all do things together outside of softball. Some coaches promote team bonding, others just make sure they get along on the field. I wouldn’t call either course wrong. Girls subbing for other teams happens all the time for a variety of reasons. I’m not sure why that would even matter to you. Pitching for years and being in HS does not mean a pitcher is good. Is she the best pitcher on the team and getting screwed, or is she one of several and the coach thinks the others are better?

If all the other parents and all the other coaches don’t like this guy why hasn‘t anybody gone to the Board or the President? It also seems odd that they’d allow you to tryout and choose which team you want your DD on next fall. I don’t know of many programs with a history of producing D1 athletes that allow that unless you’re electing to play down on a B team. If that’s the case, good luck getting D1 exposure. There’s nothing holding you there. Players often change teams in the winter. If it’s just stressful and you need to get it off your chest I can see that. If it’s as bad as you let on I don’t know why you’d even consider staying. If venting, this is a good place for it and I hope things calm down soon. If you daughter is experiencing depression symptoms over it you need to get her a new team ASAP.

Things are this bad theres no B team in any future. There is no depression. As far as no one saying anything no one wants to rock the boat but its time to let the HC to know

Well, you were the one who said she was getting depressed over it, in the original post. My DD is younger so recruiting isn't a thing for us yet but we did leave a big name last year for a new name this year, due to coaching issues. We're much happier now, but again, not really trying to get the 10 year old recruited. What I've decided going forward is that if we're all unhappy, we find a solution; if we can't find a solution, we change our attitude. All the complaining becomes so poisonous, to us (if not to the entire team, depending on if the parents are all venting to each other as well as to outsiders). I also think by age 13 we'll only be giving input and opinions; DD will be making her own decisions as far as where to play.

How about upset mad pissed hateful instead of depressed as well as when they see the HC they get oh God its the HC .But we had a big tournament last week and the HC puts his daughter at a position she never has played.Kept the best player out of the line up for almost 2 innings and put girls where they dont play its getting ridiculous. The girl he kept out of the championship seeding for those 2 innings hit over 800 in 3 games.

Sha had 1 flyout rest were great hits and 2 walks No strikeouts great plays in the field. So he is either hurting my daughter on purpose or this HC does it to piss me off because it has to be his way and like I said doesnt even take advice from the assts coaches

So the "best player" is your DD and she had to sit two whole innings? Sounds like the coach is just giving other girls opportunities. It's pretty normal in fall and winter tournaments to give role players more innings and switch things around a bit. It's also fun for the girls and he can see who can do what in case of injury or a disgruntled parent pulls his DD.

Trust me these game's were 2 Important to let others get reps in to evaluate or have fun but thats why we lost didnt keep the best players in there and at the right positions. And thats why we never advance. We have a great core but doesnt use them like they should be used
