Has anybody ever use slow mo side by side comparison in a skills video? is this a good idea or bad idea? Just looking for some suggestions on what to do. Any feedback would help. Thanks

I heard that coaches are not interested in slo-mo. don't know if sid-by-side would be different.
I figure they get lots of these to look at so I am shooting to make viewing this as easy as possible for them.

If someone figures out how to do it, please let me know. Would love to see side-by-side video of my DD throwing a fastball and a change up to look for differences that could tip the pitch.

The older version of ubersense would do what your talking about. Allowed side by side videos to run at the same time. Not sure if the newer version does

I wouldn't put too much thought into or spend too much money on a skills video. We did two skills video for our daughter and coaches rarely watched it. They always watched the game footage she posted on her website. My husband taped her pitching and would make 2-3 minute clips and my daughter would post it. Of all the video posted on her website, her skills video got the least views..Maybe 10%. If we could do it again, we wouldn't even pay for the skills videos. Not sure if anyone else had that experience, but that was our observation.

If it's a skills video for college recruiting, I wouldn't include a side-by-side with a pro - it invites comparison and criticism of anything that might be different. Let her hitting skills stand on their own.

Just my 2 cents...

I forgot to put side by side Hitting comparison with a major league player. I used my dd swing compared to Joe Mauer (her swing resembled his the most). I did my own skills video and was wondering if I should put it in there. Here is the link of video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=waZrvhruEAk.

OK, just my opinion and my opinion plus roughly $7 will get you an extra value meal at Micky D's. I know several "hitting instructors" and parents who put side by sides up and think that without a doubt their hitter/child matches a MLB Player. In fact, there are some that sell snake oil doing this. However, anyone who really knows what they are looking at just might bust out laughing their bottom side off. I worked very hard with my child trying to have her match Pujols. I think she matched his swing a few times .................. in my dreams.
