I have been all of these:

1. School coach
2. Tb coach
3. Rec coach
4. Parent coach
5. Parent
6. Private instructors

And that's probably ones of many reasons your respected on here. You have been there done that and continue to learn here and I'm sure else where. I dare say your resume is more unique than most schools coaches. Most of my area coaching in schools are some level of diamond experience if any, but got the job due to being employee of school. A couple of good ones but not many.

I am always looking to learn. Where are these other places to learn and why do you like them? Thanks.
I coach HS and TB. There is good information here but it's not the only place to get good information. I don't contribute much because I don't want to get involved in the bickering on the hitting forum and I certainly don't consider myself an expert

I think the key for all of us is to understand that we don't know everything. Sites like this enable all of us to create dialogs that help all. I know that along my and my dd's journey, there were so many people who jumped in to help.

Could not agree with you more! I think it's also important to share ideas, thoughts, things that worked well for you! I also think it's ok to try new things and look at new ways to do things. I always tell my players both HS and TB if you're comfortable at practice, then you're not learning and trying new things. Same goes for coaching! (They loved the Kobata drills I used the other day) Started uncomfortable for them, but they got it, and grew from that experience!
