Depends on how much you would like to spend- Under Armor makes some decent ones or there is always Oakley if your feeling spendy (just make sure they are polarized and treat them for anti fog) also I would recommend buying them from someplace like Dicks or somewhere similar where you can get a replacement warrantee for like $10. This warrantee has been GOLD replaced my kids scratched up lenses instead of having to buy a brand new pair.

My experience with softball sunglasses is that they are going to be used and abused, and eventually scratched, broken or lost, so I would not recommend buying an expensive pair. There are lots Oakley knockoffs available and I can usually find a pair my DD likes for @ $15. Vinci has started selling sunglasses and looks to have a nice product with interchangeable lense for @ $50 if you cannot bring yourself to buy $15 sunglasses.

Having purchased about a dozen pair for DD I concur with the don't spend too much. Polarized are better and some rubber on the bridge is nice just in case. DD has a pair of Akadema BB that have stood up fairly well and do a good job of cutting the glare.

Softball.com has Brett Bros sunglasses for $8/pair right now.

They are great but we treat them like they are disposable.

This^^^ Be careful buying any ole pair of sunglasses. I had a player that was hit in the face by a ball and the sunglasses fractured cutting this young man's face and leaving a huge scar. My kid plays in Oakley's and though they do cost some, I know she's protected. For her, they are one of her prized possessions.

So, a little story about me and sunglasses. I can get somewhat intense in games. I had a "M Frame" set of Oakleys that I wore while coaching baseball. We were not doing well and I kind of lost my mind for a moment. I threw my sunglasses down and started stomping on them. It took forever for me to break them. In the end, I looked like an idiot who had to go buy another expensive pair of sunglasses. The players still laugh about that game.

Looking for a new pair of sunglasses for a high-schooler. What are your kids wearing, and what would you recommend? Thanks!
If you catch Costco at the right time, they carry Nike sports sunglasses for $40-ish. We have donated several pairs of them to miscellaneous fields and dugouts over the years.

Dd says she's more responsible this year - so the deal is, end the year with straight A's, get Oakley's.

Have you asked your DD? The girls usually know what they want and what they don't want, opinionated little boogers.
