I'm looking for some feed back from anyone that has used both the Total Control Balls that have sand in them VS. the Total Control Balls with the holes in them....
I've used the sand ones and have had a few break over the course of one season so I'm wondering if the ones with the holes are more durable.
Thanks. 😊

The TCB whiffle balls are great, certainly will last an entire summer, for instance. They will eventually tear, but much more durable then plastic whiffle balls.

Right Here For Now
First, contact TCB customer support and if you still have them, they will replace the broken ones. I have the Heavies as well as their full size wiffles and the golf ball size wiffles. I've had them for over 4 years now and have had no problems with them other than losing a few of the golf ball size ones in tall grass.

I bought a dozen of the sand-filled TCB 3 years ago and they are all still in service. I love the fact that you can have BP virtually anywhere with them.

On a bucket
We have the sandfilled, baseball and softball size. No issues after 2 years. Great for warmups, not tried the tcb wiffleballs yet.

The whiffle ball version is a lot easier to transport. A bucket with a dozen or more sand filled TCB balls is a workout to lug around at a tournament. The downside to the whiffle balls is they fly a lot further, limiting the areas you can use them for warm ups.

PS - I am not a big fan of DD using her game bat to hit the sand filled TCBs. Not aware of anyone having issues, but why take a chance!

I've been using the TCB whiffles for 3 years and haven't had any issues. I have the sand-filled, but only use them a few times a year, or when I have limited warm-up area. No problem with them either.

I have both. The sand balls are awesome, but limit the reps due to the weight. The tcb wiffles are indestructible. The only downside IMO is that they collapse flat upon impact giving a false flight post contact....
