Can anyone confirm or clarify this rumor. I have not been able to do either looking online. I know that the competitors bats have started increasing in price recently as well. Does anyone have the info.

Hmmm, the SSR3B Purple Stealth ain't on the list. Guess DD better use the snot out of that new bat.

I did see players from Alabama and Florida with Purple Stealths at the last WCWS. Guess Easton probably had a hand in getting them banned.

I was wondering if anyone had seen if UF and UA changed their sponsorships from Easton to another company?? I am sure if the of Eastons are no longer legal they will be working hard to get the new model up to par. Easton has not had a good product for a few years now (my opinion) that is why LS Xenos and LXT got their foot in the door and ran with it.

I think the difference between those bat companies is that the Eastons were not as hot out of the wrapper as the Xenos, CF series etc... However, I'd say the Mako is as good as the new LS and Demarinis... DD's tried them all and chooses the Mako and her 18U team is almost half CF8's and Easton bats with a couple LS mixed in.

Good point on the break in period. I find is surprising that they swing Mako and CF's. Not very many used them away down here. Now that I think of it as we travel to play in the North and West we do see fewer of the LS being used. Almost exclusive LS, and older Eastons locally. With the few of the old blue CF3's. Unless they are checking compression then none of the CF3's pass the test. The new LS are just like most of the other new bats, not what they used to be. Prices on Black and Silver (FP12),White and Blue (FP13) and Purple and Black (FPXN14)are skyrocketing as teams scramble to buy up remaining inventory.

I have a friend of a friend of a friend type of deal who is a rep with LS that told me LS just made a run on FP13's for a newly signed D1 customer.... wish I could get my hands on a few of those. $699.00 is a lot for a bat, especially when you only get maybe a season on them anymore.

It seems like the CF8's are taking over in our area but DD doesn't like the flex in them. They seem like a good bat though.
