I have noticed for a while now, that when I work with my pitchers on the radar gun, that their very fastest pitches are almost allways the ones that they lose low in the dirt.a ball low in the dirt is usually 3-4 mph faster than a perfect strike, & one they lose high is usually 3-4 mph slower than normal. I can understand why the high ones are slow, cause they lost the wrist snap, Buy my question is why are the low ones fast, when they havent completed motion, & how do I harness that speed??
