Someone in another thread was looking for the Pitch Call Chart that can be found on Ron Holt's windpitch.com website using the following link
Fastpitch Softball Pitching Instruction
For those who haven't seen it or a variation of it, the chart suggests what pitches to throw based on batters stance, tendencies, game situation, weather, etc.
Interestingly, the chart or its precursor has been around since at least 1993 - anybody know more about it or seen different variations?
IMO, its a good tool for coaches to use to help teach catchers and pitchers the evaluation and thought process involved with sequencing pitches.
