So Cal
Hmm, thought she had the legs as well. Would love to have some side by side comparisons of the two. I don't think Wilson put as much thought into their newest versions, just from pictures.

IMO, Wilson took a significant step backwards with their current Pro Stock gear. The C1K gear is the old LS stuff that has been around for years.

How many rattlecans would I need for chest and legs?

I'm assuming you're asking for how much $? I believe I paid under 100 for both after shipping. I just amazon and it depends on what size you want. For chest in purple there are 3 left in adult for 20 bucks plus shipping. Maroon is 25 bucks. There's an intermediate red for 30 bucks. Looks like there's one good deal left on amazon for the blue legs in adult for 30. Looks like there are a few good deals on ebay too, still. Just search wilson pro motion.

That's a sharp set. And reminds me that after three years with her Vela legs it's probably (past) time to make sure DD's still fit properly. She just switched teams as well, with new color scheme, so ... Damn, these new gear posts always end up costing me money! Must scroll past them from now on.

Just behind home plate
My DD spent the last year wearing red/white/blue gear (old team colors) with her new black/grey/white team. Since we are staying with the team for at least the next year, I decided to splurge on a new custom set of All-Star gear in the appropriate colors.

I have offered to replace the red web on her Vinci mitt with a black one, but she doesn't want to change a thing on it.

I just had to replace a bunch of my equipment too, Eric. I replaced out my Palmgard, batting gloves and evoshield stuff. I'm supposed to replace my catcher's gear and get for both my travel team and my high school team. plus I was told that my other equipment to match both team colors (Black/Yellow for my high school and Blue/White/Black for my travel team). I might stick with Diamond gear which I'm using now. But I'm wondering what your daughter's experience has been with her All Star gear. Does she like it? How has it performed for her? I really don't want to sink too much money into gear because I'm not sure if this is my last season playing softball or if I am playing in college.

My DD loves her All-Star gear! This is her 3rd set. There was a period of time when she was in between sizes on the All-Star chest protector, and used a Wilson ProMo (which was her favorite), but since the ProMo stuff is gone, she's gone back to All-Star. The All-Star helmet doesn't fit her quite right, she uses an Easton Mako II.
