What kind of break in time can be expected for the Fortus. We have our first tournament (1 day, 5GG) March 10 and I'd like to have a glove ready for then.

I would say you can have it ready in a few weeks of work, even as an "entry" level glove - it is extremely well constructed. I wouldnt see any issues with a month. (and I can have you one by Wed I would guess)

Also, what 10u teams have the pitching to play 5GG play days? holy hell.

Send me a message and I can quote you a price if your interested.

Back on the dirt...
I agree with the Fortus for this age. Great price, well built, relatively easy break in and has great padding. Won’t last foreve like some higher priced mits but is easily worth the price.

Our Fortus fielders glove was used for a year in heavy travel ball, rec and many many practices and it still solid and not floppy.

Pulled the trigger on the Fortus and can't wait for DD to start using it.
Thanks to everyone for the comments and advice and thanks to Drakemir for the hook up, now on to catchers gear.
