Good luck with the Schutt helmet. We like it so far. It's funny, you never know what your daughter will like.

I bought custom red/white/blue All-Star legs for Maddie about a year ago. I just bought a white/blue All-Star chest and a red Easton helmet within the past few months. She also has a red/white/blue Vinci mitt. We had every expectation that the team she had been with for 2+ year would continue. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Her new team is black/grey/white. I'll get her a new white helmet, but the rest of it stays. Coach is cool with it, thankfully. Her 1-month-old red cleats, however, need to get replaced soon.
We always buy black now, lol!
My kid doesn't like black gear, which hasn't been an issue up until now. This was her first game with her new team...
A white helmet will help it look a little less out of place...maybe
Personally....I think it'd look a lot better with a skull painted over the helmet. What the heck, hockey goalies do it everywhere and she IS wearing a hockey style mask. I tried for years my Emily but she said ABSOLUTELY NO!. Maybe I could live vicariously through you and Maddie

Funny you should say that. Her very first catchers helmet got a full "skulls and rainbow-flames" treatment.
