After catching for 3 years DD has started flinching when she goes to block the ball. She has not been injured and had never shown any fear of any kind behind the plate before. Has anyone else experienced this and is there any advice on how to cure it?
DD and I go in the yard and I have her get in her stance all geared up (wearing her mask) while I throw balls at her face. We use mostly tennis balls. She has gotten very good about not flinching or turning her head.
