We live in Barboursville WV, about 3 hours from both Columbus and Cincinnati and 2 1/2 hours from Lexington KY. Was wondering if there were any camps or clinics scheduled for this area anyone knew about that would be worth attending for DD who is 13.

I know just about all the catcher parents here will recommend the New England Catching Camps. Thay have a really good video and they do "Road Trips" around the country during the winter. Just check their website for locations. My DD(16A) went to one last winter and she got some good tips/tricks. She isn't NECC converted but she took what worked best for her and used it to become a better player. She'll go back this winter if there is one close to us. Well worth it.
NECC is coming back to C-bus in March. I'm considering sending DD.
Thank you for the info, I've heard mixed reviews on NECC, any thoughts?

No worries, no offense taken! Just surprised as the most negative thing I've heard about NECC is from those who say that the NECC way isn't the only way. Happy to discuss and debate that if you want, but in the meantime I'd suggest you "risk" it and sign your kid up quick for the Columbus camp LOL!
I admit to curiosity myself - whom did you hear this from, and in what context? I am a fan of their methods - I use the DVD to train my rec catchers and am having a hard time holding on to them as they get recruited by our local select teams.
I think I worded this entirely wrong by using the word negative lol. Thank you guys for the help with the clinic on Columbus, I will for sure look into it. Really have found this forum useful so far, people seem eager to help a new guy, so appreciate it greatly.
Any camp you are going to get some mixed reviews. They have even posted on here about some of their defesionsis. Everything I ha e read is the next one will be better then the last.
