sydnishel - I like it! The first pic is perfect. On the second pic, I would prefer to see more of a hip/torso lateral shift behind the ball than a head lean, but her mitt position is very good for an outside pitch. Keep up the good work!! I'm betting she already does a great job keeping strikes looking like strikes.
No photo, but I got to hand out five 'thou shall not steal' decals to one of the catchers on my daughter's team this weekend. Including two caught stealing at 2nd during a 4-2 victory in the semi-final game my DD pitched that I told the catcher it was her win.
Runner attempted a delayed steal, expecting Maddie to throw back to 1B, as she had been doing regularly throughout the game. This frame is just before Maddie's pump-fake that got the runner to commit to 2B. She then made a spot-on throw to 2B for the out.
Thanks for posting my DD's pic. Amazing how her catching skills is transformed after attending one of Jay's roadtrip clinic last Feb.
I owe Annie two "thou shall not steal" decals for catching one at 2nd and another at 3rd this past weekend.
