Daughter had a pretty good weekend in the circle this weekend and received lots of accolades. That was pretty cool, but here’s what really made me proud. Between games DD saw a girl in the stands with a jersey from a former club she played with. Introduced herself and talked to the kid a few minutes. Later the kid tweeted DD was her new favorite pitcher and her Dad called her a class act. Had another parent message to congratulate me on DD’s weekend and added that DD was a great teammate. I was texting with a couple freshman parents and both told me how good DD has been to their kids and taken care of them both on and off the field.

I’m so glad she took an interest in sports and thankful for all the coaches and others that inspired her to become such a well-rounded, sweet young lady.
