    Default Rugby Career Over

I received the text I have been hoping to get for the past couple of weeks.

DD: "Dad I have officially retired from rugby."
Me: Trying to contain my excitement..."Why?"
DD: "The coaches said last night: Those of you with good mechanics and form might get hurt, those of you who don't WILL get hurt. I took that as my cue and retired."
Me: "I think that is a good decision."

Now she just has to survive her Irish Politics class....

I did not even know they had female rugby.

I just remember watching it when ESPN 1st came out, they beat the crap out of each other. Boxing seemed safer.

I with you, party if DD quit.

She might have been safer in rugby! As long as the class doesn't do a field trip to a pub she may be ok.
Donít practice until you get it right. Practice until you canít get it wrong.

I used to know a karate sensei who said he learned more about fighting playing rugby than he did studying karate.
