IL 3A state champs!

DD's team, Montini Broncos are the IL class 3A champs! Down 8-3 going into the top of the 7th, the Broncos scored 12 runs to win the championship 15-8. DD single to right center drove in the tying run.

Unbelievable comeback. The area newspapers called it epic.

Set new IL record for most runs scored in a state series or Championship game inning for all classes
