Second tournament as a fastpitch player and first on a regulation field. She's just had a one day tournament and it was on a middle school baseball field. She ripped some good ones then, but it's nice to have that 200 fence.
First was a solo on Saturday. Constant wind coming in straight from right field so hitting into the wind. Trying to be conservative, this landed at around 240. It caught the wind and pretty much dropped down and traveled very little on a roll. You can see the guy go out to get it right around the time she's at 2nd. AND... that was my truck, right under the bumper. I parked out there thinking she couldn't hit it that far and I'd be safe. 10 or so more feet and I'd have a new dent.

This isn't a dinger, but one I'm very proud of. This was the semi-final game to get us to the championship game. The opposing team was actually an 05 12u, but they were very solid and had already won 2 14u tournaments and were undefeated going into this weekend. We were tied in the 6th inning (extra innings), 2 outs with runners on first and second. She sat on the changeup and clubbed it. On to the championship game!
