I've got two words for ya...Northwest Minnesota...
We still have 6-8" on the ground and that doesn't include the monster drifts around the dugouts and fences....
I normally have the drifts blown off of the fields by now, but we have another winter storm coming Friday.
Good times.

Yeah I remember a couple years ago in CT we had a foot of snow on the field the first week in April literally mid April before the girls even saw the field...but such is life in NE...DD graduated last year and we are now actually going back to TX can't wait although I probably wont be doing anything softball related...we'll see.

So ready for cold weather to be done. We have had one nice day on game day so far. Around 50 and sunny. The rest have been 42-45 and WINDY. Parents all bundled up in blankets and winter clothing.

An idea for you parents of pitchers...we played a girl the other day that had a hand warmer around her waist like you see football quarterbacks wear. She would tuck her pitching hand inside of it between pitches to try to keep it warm. Not sure if she had the little hand warmers inside of it or not, but probably did.
