GAME DAY is finally here!

We start TB tournaments tomorrow! First year 14u. So excited to get this started again! My DD woke up sick this morning. Pumping antibiotics, steroids, and Motrin. Praying she will feel well enough to play this weekend!

One of the moms on our team took pics and then edited them for me so we could do a countdown to game day. They turned out awesome!

Good luck! We played last weekend and we're playing this weekend too. First year 12U stinks almost as much as first year 10U (we have 8 06s and 2 07s, no second year girls; VERY first year). You'll have to let me know how first year 14U feels so I know whether I have something to look forward to.

So far, it is pretty awesome! My kid was sick basically all weekend, we have one injured, and had three that had other commitments throughout the weekend (we were in Woodstock, so close to home). There were games where we only had nine! We played a couple of the best teams in the state, and beat some really good 03 teams. We ended up taking 5th out of 36 teams. It was a VERY good weekend, and we can't wait to do it again!

And since this is the shameless bragging post, my kid played half a game and had two at bats all weekend. First one was a walk and the second was a legitimate in the park homerun! No errors, just hit a screaming grounder into the left field corner and beat the throw home. It was pretty awesome
