End of fall season for us too! We ended in Montgomery, Alabama at the T-bolts Showcase. Definitely not our best showing. Our usually stellar defense struggled, but our bats really came alive. We had some really great at bats over our five games and saw some great competition as well.

But onto my brag....

My DD went to a prospect camp last night at a local D1 school and looked great! During the scrimmage game she had 2 hits, one walk, one K against older pitchers. She is a slapper so singles are her bread and butter. Also had a couple of good plays in the field. She was definitely one of the fastest kids there and really showed her strengths with base running and speed. Getting on the coach's radar! :)

I have mentioned some of this in earlier brags, but I guess this is a good time to sum it up.

My twins now play on the same TB team (thank goodness). Not a brag, just an appreciation. I actually said that is what I was thankful for at the Thanksgiving table and got a good laugh from everyone.

I don't have specific stats on my DDs, but

DD1, catcher, was given 6 of the 9 MVP tournament medals during fall ball. She would have gotten a 7th one in the last tournament game of the fall, but her head coach told the opposing coach to give it to someone else.

DD2, play 3rd and outfield on a 12u rec team for the past two seasons. In mid-July she decided she wanted to start pitching. She surprised everyone with her speed and control. She came in relief in the division championship game (against the eventual league winner) and almost completely shut them down, allowing only 1 run when the starting pitcher gave up 7.
She decided she wanted to move up and play TB. She made the team her twin is on in August. By the end of September she started the first games in both pool and bracket play in her first 14u tournament. Another team parent said she was glad my pitching DD joined, the team needed a knockout pitcher.
Though the season is over, and it has turned a bit colder where we are, she is still asking me to take her out to practice pitching regularly.
