And in last night's game, the opposing coach had the pitcher throw around her in the first two at bats. In the third at bat, they just told her to take first base and didn't even bother to pitch to her. I've never seen that done in school ball before. Apparently, it's a new rule in High School ball this year. I guess the word was out on the street and the bases were loaded.

Nice - glad ya'll are up in a different area than us ;) From this vid and the previous GS, the girls look so big to me. I am still waiting to see if DD will ever look as big as some of the girls I've seen on other teams.
(Interesting that your MS does seem to be affiliated with the high school/middle school - ours - you have to go to the school but it's still separate from the MS. I wish it was though)

My DD goes to a Catholic School that is grades 7-12, so she is actually already at the school where she will go to HS as well. The MS team is grades 7-8. We actually had to recruit a few girls who don't attend the school to fill out a whole team. They have plenty at Varsity level, but not enough at MS.

Interesting - Most of the schools in our county that have MS teams have at least 3 teams - we only have 2 for our MS but could easily make 3 if we had enough coaches. But then we have Middle Schools that feed into a 2500-3500 size high schools. If you didn't go there what school would she go to?

She'd be at North Springs High School. Fulton and DeKalb schools don't seem to be as big as Gwinnett or Cobb schools from what I can tell. It seems like most of the MS girls at her school are doing cross country or cheerleading instead.
