So a little back story. Coaches sent us an email asking us to fill out DD's bio. DW prints it out and gives it to me with instructions to fill it out. We have a running joke in our family that DW was not very athletic, but she was a great crab walker back in her day. One of the questions on the form was "any athletes in the family"...well they are looking for college or professional athletes, of which we have none. Instead of leaving the question blank I put that DW was a champion crab walker back in middle school, thinking when I gave my DW the hand written form to type up she would read it, laugh about it and omit it. Well I guess DW was not reading what she was typing because she included it in the form she emailed back and the administrators included it in DD's bio. DD called us Saturday laughing so hard she could hardly breath...

My wife still braggs about being the tetherball champ at her elementary school. She still takes pride in her tetherball skills!

Obviously, much to your wife's chagrin, Duke softball does not employ a fact checker!

I think it very likely that Kathryn's parents will be known among the Duke softball player parent community as Bud and Krabby.

That's a great back story. Can't wait to attend the 9/30 game. Hope to see Huey get some mound time.

If anyone is interested in watching I believe the game on Sept 30th will be on the WatchESPN app through the ACC Network.
Lwlemasters - we will be there and I always enjoy meeting other DFP members.
