Monday Brag 9-18-17

Our travel team hosted a round robin this weekend. The level of competition wasn't what our coach was hoping for, but DD went 7 for 12 with 2 HR and 2 doubles and had 7RBIs. Even though the opposing pitchers weren't that great, I'm hoping this brings her out of a slump she's been sitting in for the last few weeks.

DD's new team played in a local tournament and won the whole thing. DD pitched well in the championship game, gave up 3 ER in the first inning and only got one unearned run the rest of the game. She's loving the new team.

DD is playing RF, made a really nice catch.

For some reason 2 players came out for the cutoff.

Like any reasonable person she threw it between the 2 of them and yelled "oh sh**".

After inning is over she comes in and said a least no one heard that, sorry to tell her people 3 counties away heard her.

DD is getting settled in at college. Doing two-a-days with her new team, whom she loves.. They hang out all of the time and the upper classmen have helped her with everything. Comforting to this mama that although she is over 8 hours away she has a team of sisters that have her back!

Update on brag:
The college that came out to watch DD play in a showcase tournament this past weekend invited her to their inter squad game and to tour the center this Sunday.
