First game after moving up to 10U

DD just moved up to 10U this fall and was especially nervous with her new team - she didn't know any of the girls on her team before this season and she's one of only a couple first-year 10Us on the team.

But yesterday was her first game and she was great - reached base every time at bat, including a bases-loaded double. And she pitched well - two innings, four Ks, two runs, two walks (control has been her biggest problem so this is a huge improvement for her).

So that weekend was interesting for DD first 10U game. Half the team is moving up from 8U and the other half hasn't played softball before. DD got a walk and a K. On the walk she told the umpire she didn't get a ball to hit and wanted to stay. Second game was a forfeit because the other team didn't show due to illness.
