DD, a 2018 catcher/IF, worked her lifeguard shift yesterday. Came home, called her future college coach to commit, then called her other prospective coach to pass on their offer. She had a few minutes to grab some food before she went to her hitting lesson, then went straight to the gym to lift. Woke up this morning for hitting and leg day at the gym. HS tryouts started at 4. We're so proud of the work she's been doing. Really living the softball life, on and off the field.
It has all happened so fast. How do the days go by so slow, yet the years pass in the blink of a eye? Senior night is just over 2 months away.
