My DD has been robbed about 10 times this season by deep fences & great defensive plays (sometimes both)....

This weekend it happened for her - she hit what was described as a "towering shot that landed 30' beyond the fence".

So happy for her - she works so, so hard getting better every week. She deserves the result she gets.

Of course this was the weekend I didn't go... and the DW wasn't recording so no video of this one. My phone just started blowing up mid-Sunday morning.

Maybe I will see the next one...

Congrats!!. Did she get to keep the softball or do they not do that in softball? With the exception of college, after 25-30 years my parents still have in their home all of my first OTF HRs at the various levels I played at.

Yes she got to keep the ball. We put the game details on it and all his teammates signed it
