DH finally got our highlights reel done if anyone is interested. I love these things. Check out the call at home on that almost-homerun - he called her out. The girl did not tag her, I can only imagine he called her out because she didn't slide. She said she couldn't because the bat was in the way, though. Come on girls, move the dang bats out of the way for your teammates. Oh well, still a great hit. (ETA - that particular hit was not my kid, it was her bff).

DD got her 3rd home run of the HS season last night. The stands were right beside the dugout and I overheard a senior girl ask her how many home runs she had hit. She said 3. The senior said I know you have hit 3 this year. I meant how many total home runs have you hit. She said 3. I had.never hit one till this year. The senior just looked at her and said "Oh". It is really great seeing DD'so confidence soar. Between the good start to her high school career aND a supportive coach who told her he thought she could play softball some where pretty big her interest in playing college softball has been renewed.
