A win is a win. Better than losing. Great for Iowa State University. Now MAYBE Iowa can start keeping some of the softball talent in Iowa instead of leaving for other out of state Softball Universities. I know these ladies are from outside the state of Iowa, which is fine. Just that it would be nice to see home grown athletes on the roster. Just my Opinion.

Minnesota is almost Iowa. We just have lakes, trees instead of corn. I’m kidding of course. DD absolutely loves it there. I think you’ll see more Iowa kids staying home under Jamie Trachsel. Her first commit was a huge pick-up with Nearad from Kirkwood and she’s spent a lot of time recruiting in state. Unlike Looper who thinks “the learning curve is a little bit steeper for Iowa kids”. While at the same time Allister was signing Lindeman and Fiser. SMH

COngrats on your DD. That is awesome. Last fall our gold team was at the D9 tourney in Orlando & Allister watched alot all of our games.

Looper's learning curve will come again this year (like last season) when they get destroyed by Minnesota. If you remember, Bettendorf Iowa native, Sydney Dwyer put it to the Hawks at home last spring.

Just a non judgmental don't create any waves question, has anyone ever seen Looper recruiting at tournaments? I see Jake all the time, but
never seen Looper. See Jaime all the time, but can't off top of my head think of anyone she is talking to.

Was Dwyer a Barracuda? She's tearing it for for U of M again this year. I'm somewhat familiar with your program. DD grew played for the MN Renegades and MN Force and it seemed like we faced you guys every year.
