That stinks but tell her more people read about it on DFP and we're the ones that matter:)
Good point! LOL
Were not really mad, just a little disappointed. Seems like when a coaches kid goes 1 for 4 with a single, her pic is enlarged on the front page. I'm exaggerating of course.... but we do keep a scrap book of all the kids write ups in the paper, and we thought for sure a 6 rbi's game was in the bag.

I agree... my DD loves her name in the paper. .. if she had a day like that I might pay for an ad to make sure it gets in LOL.

Yeah, sometimes makes 'you' wonder if you were watching the same game. DD went 3 for 5 last night with game tieing RBI. No ink. A player/teammate that went 2 for 4 got ink. We lost the 8 inning game that DD lead off with a line drive hit up the middle and was left stranded.

Do they still make newspapers? I try to track all of my kids through the various twitter feeds from their High Schools and retweet them with personal notes to all the members to our team.

During our big play-off year, my DD was getting in the paper...a lot. We had a parent clique on our team that was none to happy about their kids not getting write ups in the paper, so they actually did call the paper and ask them to do a story on the volleyball players that were also on the softball team, and how they made a run for state in volleyball, and now were trying to do the same thing in softball. The paper wrote the article, and included the names and pictures of just those girls.
