    Select 30 All American Camp?

    Imo, very little. I'm sure there's some for the girls that make the team. My problem is they don't put the required effort in to truly evaluate the girls so it's a bit of a favorites game or toss up. There's at least 1 other thread on this with alot more replies if you search for it.

    Same here. Coming out of it with nothing compare was the worst. Drove 9hrs each way, 2 nights hotel, $250 fee, for nada.lesson learned though

    This! My DD was in the group that participated and received no stats or anything due to them being "lost". Alledgedly after the selections were made. No credits, no refunds, not much of an apology....Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.

    I'm pretty sure they did. Not for 12's, but for 14's & 16's. Pretty sure most of the top teams were playing Legacy last year. Imo, that's 1 reason the Batbusters swept the divisions.

    What division? We played 12u last year and it contained many of the top ranked teams along with tons of solid teams to round out the field. 14u & up should see some good competition, but may not be as strong because of it being scheduled the same week as Atlanta Legacy. Alot of really good teams...

    My daughters cf6 is hotter than her cf9. The cf9 is fine, but imo, I'd go with the cf8.

    This is our first showcase, but I have to say I am amazed at how many coaches are out. We are at the Espn wwos location but it seems there are at least a couple coaches at every field that I've looked at. I've seen as many as 30 or so at 1 field.     Any CF-9 reviews?

    I think both bats probably have pretty similar swings on them. The only thing I can figure is the Sprite is -11 (33/22) while thw cf9 hope is -10 (33/23). Maybe the lighter bat gets beetwr swing speed? Idk. We hit on a field and she alternates the bats in practice. The balls are always 20-30ft...

    We got a great draw in reference to the fields. Probably as good as can be expected. DD has been sending out emails. Just hoping to get on the radar at this point. ***just noticed you mentioned fields 10 - 15 as the main fields. if that's the case, maybe we don't have as good as I thought but...

    We are in this for the first time as well. We just finished the Elite Florida Classic and it had a decent amount of coaches in attendance, so I'd expect this one to have even more. Schedules are out and there are a ton of strong teams spread out among 4 different field locations, so I'm guessing...

    At what age does slap hitting start to loose effectiveness?

    If I had to guess, I'd say about 35 or so...;-) In all seriousness, watch some college games and you'll see that slappers are an essential part of the game. With 60' bases, speed kills.

    Without reading the entire thread, my answer to the OP would be: 1) Talk to coaches in every state and ask each to rank thevtop teams in their state in order 2) Ask coaches to rank top teams per region as well 3) research records and results from the top 10 tournaments in each region 4) weigh...
