Ball exit velocity
yes, 2 out of 10 times that would be fun to watch!:D Seriously though, I agree with your comment, but there is way too much focus on Velocity off the Tee and not enough focus on ability on the field.- stjoesoftballdad

Ball exit velocity
Just remember, Exit Speeds are a useful tool, but don't get all caught up on it. I would take at girl with an Exit Velocity of 55 and a .450 avg. over an Exit Velocity of 70 and a .250 avg. any day of the week.- stjoesoftballdad

Cardio workouts
Often times people want to get too technical. If you have the facilities to do so, most of the exercises mentioned above are great. What's your DD's Batting stats????

"hitting the cutoff"
I think the term hit the " HIT THE CUTOFF" is often misused. I use the term "THROW THROUGH THE CUTOFF". If you teach the girls to field the ball and make the strongest/ most direct throw "THROUGH THE CUTOFF" then you are allowing the defense to adjust, and make the decision to cut or not.- stjoesoftballdad
