    Original Rev Fire

Would anyone be interested in an original Rev Fire? Working w two softballs. Not the Rev fire 2

    SOLD-Original Rev Fire

I have an original Rev Fire that is still like new (2-12" balls are used, but work fine), both DD's are getting to a point where I don't need it anymore. Are people still using it?

    Curve ball help

I will disagree. DD is a pitcher for a P5 team that does quite well with a curve. Just ask Texas.

another tech ball to put on our Christmas list ?

Spin is calculated as RPM on the DK ball. Rev Fire is RPS. Take your 1150 and divide by 60 to compare to Rev Fire.

    What's "Most" important

Picking one, my choice would be speed. Though I agree pitchers can be effective with spin and location without speed. With speed, control and spin can be can be off a little and you will still get swings and misses/foul balls/weakly hit balls. The difference is, with a hard throwing pitcher...

    new College Freshmen DD check-in

DD#1 seems to be adjusting well. Playing P5, the grind is real. But seems to be embracing it. Played in 3 games last weekend, played 1st, hit, and pitched 3 scoreless innings. Not sure if those innings will come around in the spring. The hardest thing for her right now is balancing the...

    Revfire2 stats

    DD is a 2nd year 14, numbers I got from the version 2 aren't all that different from my version 1 Rev Fire. Took the average of 5 pitches Fastball 62.0 mph-----high was 63 20.6 rps-----high was 21.8 Backhand Change 40.5 mph-----high was 42 23.9 rps-----high was 24.7 Horseshoe Change 50.5...

In Search Of an 11” RevFire Softball

I have an 11" ball that I purchased when I got the original system. Brand new. No idea what it's worth. Offer?

I find it hard to believe this is true about learning movement pitches.

I'm seeing that right now with the younger DD...two different riseballs (you know the coach)...fastball speed has leveled for a while at about 61, but the riseballs have gotten VERY good. Even alternating pitches can be a wild ride at times. It will be fun to see after this year.

    Walk off

2018's: How is the college recruiting process going?

DD was lucky enough to commit to a P5 conference back in October. Couldn't be more excited as it was where she wanted to go to school even if softball wasn't involved. Now moving on to my DD that's a 2022...start the process all over again. This one might be easier with a 60mph fastball and...

    ODM On Deck Measurements

MY DD is 12u eligible as well. We did both OnDeck last year and made the USSSA Elite Selects as a direct select. She is a P/C/Corner. We will never do the USSSA selects again. Just not a great experience for the cost. Personally, as long as you have means to correctly and accurately do...

    USA Elite Select Futures tryout

Youngest DD tried out in KS back in October. Ended up being a direct select for the Midwest region for the 11's. It was a well run tryout, albeit indoors due to rain. DD can't wait to go to FL in August...I'm sending mom with :)

    Regular Softballs In The Gym

I wouldn't use them in a gym, but we have pitched with real balls in a gym...just be aware of your backstop Not to hijack the thread, but has anyone noticed a difference of when your DD pitched in gyms/domes all off season and it takes a little time to adjust to being outside in the dirt? How...

Ha...supposed to be a high of 0 on Sunday. What's the best way to commute to GA?

Neither does anywhere else on earth....except MN...smh

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

It doesn't say it in those words, it says that it will penalize any team that rosters a 12u player on a 14u+ team. With PGF not yet being a permanent fixture here in MN, ASA is the route for a lot of tournaments. A ban would basically eliminate the ability to play in any ASA sanctioned...

You are correct in the monopoly statement...even to the point of 8.05 E the last sentence that states that no player can be retained as a practice player after the 3rd Monday of April. The are really creating a bad system. I'm almost frustrated to the point of looking into if there is any...

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks for the comment, She does play dome ball in the off-season as well as travel basketball. She works out with the Midwest Speed program and all of their training during the week, thus the separation that is being seen between her and some of her peers. Currently we drive from the far...
