Many of you have helped with advice for my DD Maya. Well she started her high school teams season opener as a freshman and threw a 2 hit shutout, while striking out 8 and walking none. What makes this more impressive is this is only 2 weeks after being cleared from a severe mcl strain that...
We have been working on drive, whip, and swimming with the glove arm....here is a video from behind...will post a side one in a few. Hopefully Java...Doug...and Ken can take a look as they have commented before...anyone else can offer their 2 cents as well.

DD who is 13 and a second year 12u pitched in the championship game of our first outdoor tourney yesterday and made me so proud. She pitched a great game even though we lost 4 - 1, it was a 1-1 game going to the 6th, but she was consistently cruising at 55-56 mph which is her best game speeds...
I have never been one to concern myself with speed too much. If my DD is hitting her spots and getting kids out I have never worried about too much other then being a measurable stat that shows growth. However, something has happened lately at her pitching instructors place that is driving me...
Well here is the outdoor video I promised. Again 2 clips....1 slo mo....1 regular speed. Worked for the last week on the corrections Java suggested....trying to go forward and back at the same time...no stepping back...a trying not to have a pause. It seems we are being somewhat successful...
Hoping to get some comments from Java and others with knowledge on how this 2 Step drill looks...2 videos one real time speed the other slow motion.

Had an interesting discussion with another parent at practice tonight. Both our daughters are pitchers on the team and both have different instructors that teach different things. My daughter was working on her peel drop and he asked when she was going to learn the roll over to which I replied...
Some video of 10yr daughter. Comments on things to work on during off season....we already know we need to work on keeping hands together. Thanks in advance.

My daughter who has just recently turned 10 has had some accuracy issues because of her glove hand swimming out to the side. Atleast this is what her pitching coach has surmised. So instead of pulling the glove all the way down by her thigh during the release and drive portion of the motion...
Lately it seems that many of the post on this particular forum are getting a bit "catty" for lack of a better term. This does not seem to be the case in the other forums just the pitching one. This is not just my imagination is it?
I have an 10u daughter who is 9 yrs. old and will be 10 in March. Started pitching about a year and a half ago and is going to be playing here first year of tourney ball. I am having difficulty determining how accurate I should expect her to be at this age. I am sure there is probably a...
