    Bunt back to the pitcher, pitcher fields the ball cleanly throws to the second baseman covering first. Ball beats base runner but second baseman is not standing on first base. Is this a hit or error on second baseman? Runner would be out if second baseman had foot on bag. This was not a bang...

    Straddling home

    Dd is freshman varsity catcher. Coach wants her to straddle home near the apex on tag plays at home. I have never heard of this. She has always put her left heel near the left front corner of the plate. Opinions on straddling home.

    Low pitch

    Does anyone know how to teach catching a low pitch just below the knees. I know how high level boys do it but not sure on girls due to the size of the ball. Because if you flip the glove over you just told the ump it was a ball. Dd went to necc durning the summer but they did not work on that.

    Cooling shirts under uniform

    DD is a catcher I was wondering if anyone has used a cooling shirt. Yesterday after one of those long innings I saw her face. I could tell she was overheating. Cooled her off with towel from cooler. But was wondering if anyone has worn a cooling shirt or recommend one.

    How does brush interference not cause injury to your forearm. If you constantly hit your forearm on your hip/leg you will end up with a stress fracture.

    Video taping

    Trying to tape dd pitching with my ipad and then use coaches eye to slow down. But arm speed is too blurry to see. Any good cameras to use, that won't break the bank.

    Dead ball area

    Runners on 1st and 2nd, no outs. Batter hits pop up. Ump calls IFR batter out. Pop up hits catchers glove in fair territory , lands in fair territory and spins into dugout. What is the awarded bases.?
