    I have an 11 yo student, without a bat. I looked on EBay and found this 04 for about $25.00. I think I paid $350, for one 14 years ago. But pins are missing from the end cap. Someone once said what those pins are. What are they? I want to fix this.

    My granddaughter is 8, now.

    She is not on a team, but she comes to lessons. The key to getting her to catch the ball was to get a large broken in glove.
