DD's first home run
Awesome! Still waiting on mine! DD #1 is 11, also playing since tball and valued by her coaches as a VERY consistent hitter- just not the long ball. It will be a big party!- Husky

Hitting Coach - CT
Any recomendations for a good hitting coach, preferably S/W Connecticut. Can travel Metro NY, Western MA, Rhode Island for occasional instruction. 12-U Softball, thx- Husky

DD freshman high school coach wants
From the shape of it, DD will have a great SB career no matter what. There isn't much of a career path for many of our DD's in their chosen sport. Seems to me it's about DD learning the life skills she's going to need beyond SB.- Husky

Friends Influence Not Always Good
For us, there are plenty of problem influences among her team mates as well as her other circles. The thing I've grasped onto is to keep her busy! If not softball, anything. I agree that kids can be over scheduled, but being underscheduled is just as dangerous IMHO. I try not to criticize...- Husky

My first parent coach confrontation
Tough position to be in for a volunteer and you weren't going to win with this guy unless his daughter was the #1. From the other side of the fence though maybe 10U rec ball is a little early to plant a kid who is decent in left field because she lack's instincts. Might be just the kind of...- Husky
