DD (17) tore her ACL doing after landing funny doing conditioning drills two weeks ago. She has ACL surgery in two weeks and the surgeon asked us which type of graft to perform, patellar or hamstring tendon. He does both and was happy to do either if we have a preference. We have...- ddose

Sunburn!
DD ran around this week in a tank top and now has a bad burn on the outside top of her shoulder. Hurts to raise her arm, she tried to pitch today and was basically only able to sling shot it. I'm thinking game time adrenalin will help her tomorrow, or it could get ugly. Supposed to be cool...- ddose

Pitching mat idea for sore knee?
12 yo DD is going through a growth spurt and our indoor mat (3/4" stall mat from a farm store) bothers her stride knee sometimes. She has no issues on dirt. The floor underneath is concrete so I think it is still a pretty hard surface to land on. I'm wondering if attaching IO carpet to the mat...- ddose
