I just looked at the Miami schedule, I’m not seeing what you are seeing!
That team hits well. Have seen them play in person several times. As a team, I can say I like their swings. The coach is good. They made the post season last couple years.
So I looked at the hitter I know on that team...
My bad!
I saw it originally on X and couldn’t find it again but its in this clip too.
I bet they do rundown drills in practice so much that they have forgotten the ultimate point of what you are trying to do...
There is video floating around of a rundown in the Friday Indiana vs Minnesota game. I cant find it now.
It is painful. Really painful. It looks like a bad rundown drill gone viral.
The homerun graphic speaks more to the pitching the teams are facing than the bat they are swinging. Miami of Ohio, Mercer, Georgia Tech.
Most hitters are probably better off with a drop 10, more reaction time and more barreled up balls.
DD played for a coach who had a sign to steal and a sign to fake bunt/steal. Pretty sure that was it. This was a really good team too.
The signs were not conventional. They came at unconventional times. He used the same ones for years. It drove the conspiracy theorists on the other teams...
There is a 2016 hs grad playing at Miami of Ohio. Hats off to her for doing what she loves, man thats a long time to play college softball.
As the dad of a 2020 hs grad, all I can say is that timing is everything. They were on the edge of the recruiting rules change. A lot of them lost their...
Actual boots with Thinsulate. I really like Danners, will only buy “re-craftable” soles.
These are almost like insulated underwear: (Trust me, if its really cold and not “60* in Florida cold”, you will love these)

UCLA players going to look out the window of a dump Champaign hotel during snow flurries… Take in stunning views of I-57 and fallow bean fields…. But won’t be able to quit and fly home with their parents because they will be 3 hours from a real airport, lol!
Kind of surprised no one brought up...
@Orange Socks I didn’t know any of that stuff about Aggieland culture! I really prefer boring and unexciting. I would fit right in there.
Also I was wrong about 100% of the SoCal players not going back. It’s only 3 out of 4 but the 4th one still has class work to finish and will probably go...
I’m also guessing that there is a large pool of NIL for football at A&M. When that happens, it is only a matter of time before someone says “what about the girls?”
People think of NIL as being a big check and a Range Rover for big name recruits. It is also an opportunity for “no name”...
Keep in mind I know absolutely nothing specific about this situation.
I can say I have casually observed the A&M coaches and I like what I see. If I had a daughter being recruited I would be investigating A&M. I try to really pay attention to how coaches interact with players. Really noticed...
Responding more to the stuff on page 1:
After roughly 6 years of college softball, I can‘t even begin to describe how dysfunctional some of these coaches are.
I sit in my big comfy chair and read the posts by parents of recruits on various sites and I can’t help thinking how naive they are...
It was 8-9 years ago so after a couple days of violent food poisoning all recovered! Back then it was the same org that hosted a post season NCAA alternative tournamant. Kind of a NIT type deal. Both were money makers…. Can’t remember who ran it. Has-been coaches and players I think.
I...
My daughter played there. It was a dump. Half the team got sick after the coaches challenged them to eat raw oysters being distributed out of a bucket.
Going to Puerto Vallarta for softball is stupid. El Chapo’s son got abducted from a restaurant there. A former Jalisco governor was shot...
