Might sound like a silly question, but can it go against a player if she asks a coach to watch her play too soon?
For example, my daughter is a Freshman right now. Should she wait until her game gets a little better before asking the coaches to her travel games? I don't want it to hurt her if...
She originally was taught this by her former instructor. She mentioned that we would eventually move to the weight transfering forward but not at that time. I didn't understand why you would teach one way only to change later on down the road...seems it would be easier to do it right the first...
We worked a bit on the "spinning" today...here is a short clip.
This was a tee drill which is why here stride leg comes up so high.
It looks better,right?
I watched and listened to this video again and he's telling her to "snap the top hand". not stack the hands. She does know what he means when he's giving her these instructions.
Thanks for the advice. You hit it right on the head. She is feisty! LOL! She does do soft toss and hard toss. What can she do to work on balance other than just sitting a little lower?
She is with her instructor and I am definitely happy with him...there seems to be some knowledgable people on this site and wanted some opinions and what she coud be working on.
Thanks for the input. She isn't hitting off of a machine...there's not even one in the building. All side/front toss. She usually starts off with a wood bat and baseballs and then on to her bat and softballs.
I will mention it to the instructor about her being to tall, but he has been trying to...
