1st college game
Season starts Friday (D2). Just heard my freshman DD will be starting in the 4 spot first game. Hoping she is less nervous than me! Excited for the season. Hoping she performs like I know she can and that her team has a great season!- team mom

1st college games, 1st college hit
My DD played in her first college games this weekend (Fall scrimmages.) I got to see her first collegiate hit, a double off the center field wall (220 ft). :cool:- team mom

Gaining weight in college
Assistant coach told DS she will gain 20-25 pounds Fall semester. For those on the other side, what is typical? DS is thin and will gain weight no doubt, but that seems like a lot in 4 months. She is 5'10", 130#. I'm not worried, just wondering what others have seen.- team mom

What is the difference between USA Softball Class A versus Gold? Gold usually implies better but it seems like the Gold Nationals are not as prestigious/competitive as the Class A?- team mom

Verbal offers
How do you handle a verbal offer if you are still in process of evaluating schools? How long would they wait for you to make a decision? It's hard not to get caught up in the offer you do have versus the one you want but may not get and may not know at all until after showcases in the summer...- team mom
