    I think 4 is also a safe number. there are injuries, travel, sickness that prevent individuals playing in games and sometimes need to be accounted for.

    Understand the point, but would say leave as is. exceptions are a slippery slope, they lead to wanting more and other exceptions, and trying to track exceptions would be a pain.

    DD uses TuffToe and no issues. it doesn't last as long as Ringor from what the others are saying, but it works for her.

    A friend takes his DD to a men's fastpitch pitcher for lessons. It does seem like they throw different and teach it that way too. not the crop hop or leap, but just the arm/palm as you mention. I think it is, what is the natural position of the palm when the arm is coming up and around.
