It's a team marketing deal with Wilson. We had to park the Ghosts.
With another partner's help, every girl on our 12U team got a new 2019 Prizm for Christmas 2018. They take time to start working and usually work best before they break. Our 2018 Insane works better.
We tried the 2019 LXT. It's...
I'm not a bat vendor. I just do bat service locally. We have a 2018 and 2019 Ghost that still make good power. We can't use Easton now due to a marketing partnership. The Advanced I have is a demo from a dealer for me to weigh.
I have no idea how the manufacturers determine "end load". My numbers are only the big and small end weights. Are they "exact"? Nope. I'd say within .1 of an ounce.
We helped get a Ghost returned to Easton that was 2 ounces above advertised. We've recorded swing data the past 3 years with Blast. One ounce of bat weight can lower hand speed 1-2 mph depending on age and strength of batter. It was a bit of a hassle until you have proven data.
I've done over 50 bats the past 2 years and will be making it a side business in 2020. Unfortunately I can't share our process for weighing at this time because I want to build my client base. I weigh the bat 4 times. Dirty, clean, bare and as delivered. Grip thickness and length can contribute...
Here are the bats we tested this year. I'll post the numbers from the 33" Ghost Advanced this weekend. Big end % is the percentage of total weight on the big end of the bat.
Hello all. I'm Davey. First post newbie. Thanks for the admission.
I got my hands on the new Ghost. Going to weigh and take some hacks this weekend. I weigh both the big and small ends of bats and know the big end %.
I'll let you know.
