The content was great! There is a mobile app that the entire course can be viewed through, which is nice. There are strength and conditioning workouts, nutrition plans as well as everything related to the fundamentals of pitching.
I myself greatly benefited from the course. My DD, not so much...
We are in the same boat, my DD first year 12u and throwing much slower. I signed up mostly in hopes that she will be willing to sit down and study the craft of pitching vs doing what dad and a pitching coach tell her. I’m hoping this will open her eyes to body awareness.
Thank you for that information. DD is currently set on a white set of gear. Jen Schro large helmet was too big, can’t find a white small. All-Star is currently sold out of small white chest protectors.
We’re in CA and shut down so we’re not in a huge rush. I would like to get her a new set...
That’s a great deal. I’ve been waiting on ordering a set of All-Star AFX gear until the EvoShield came out. That price tag sealed the deal for me.
With that said, any All-Star reps or distributors on this forum before I order online?
@Eric F Do you know of anyone?
I would like to see a set as well. I'm sure they are very nice and well thought out. I can't personally justify that kind of money for MY kid. Maybe when she's in high school and the price has come down a bit.
EvoShield officially released their new line of catchers gear. $750 for a set that will fit my 11 yr old. Seems like an extremely steep price tag considering I can get 2 sets of the All-Star AFX gear for that price.
Anyways, if anyone else was awaiting the release, it's out. Dig down deep in...
I have searched the web a few times and have come up empty-handed.
California says sports with no spectators can be played during phase 3. I assume that to be professional sports and have yet to find anything specific to youth sports.
Hopefully, PGF will send an update soon. I think all it...
PGF Nationals are scheduled to be played in Orange County. They have different stay at home orders than LA county. Whether or not the kids can play, we shall see.
Does anyone have a DVD copy they are willing to sell? My 11 yr old has been catching for close to a year and has finally caught the bug. She is currently the backup catcher and is determined to take that starting spot when we come back from quarantine.
I was thinking the DVD would be easier...
I am sad to admit that I used my parents cable providers login to get access to the ESPN streams. Through the ESPN+ app on my TV, I am able to stream any softball game that is aired on an ESPN channel that they have access to through their provider.
With that said, start asking parents...
If you're looking for ease and portability, this may be a good option for you.

I just purchased a Rawlings Liberty Advanced 33" for my 11yr old on Black Friday. She has small hands for her age too. It's a great glove and she loves it so far. It's starting to break in nicely.
