I would go with the prism. Love the sound on contact.
The new 2021 Prism coming out has been changed a lot and simply based on the sounds of it should be a great bat with lots of improvements over the original.
Take a very hard look at the new Mizuno F21 Power Carbon. I just picked one up for my daughter after demoing it compared to several others. All of the girls loved it. We currently have a girl on the team
also demoing the PC. She’s always been a Ghost girl. She’s demoing the PC and the Ghost...
Long shot here. I’m in the Ann Arbor area of Michigan. I want to get my lefty daughter learning how to slap hit. Im
having trouble finding a good slap hitting coach. Anybody know of one?
The local dealer near me hates the ghost. He said yes they are hot out of the wrapper but it’s not a matter of if they will break it’s when. He said it’s simply girls not wanting to put in the time to season the bat and get it hot. I guess it makes sense?? I don’t know. I personally don’t care...
He sent me a message on here saying he’s in Tennessee and texts weren’t coming through. So all is good. I was just making sure nothing crazy happened because he’s always bed. quick to respond.
I weighed all of these on a certified postal scale at work at the post office.
2019 demarini zen 31/21. 20.8 oz
2020 demarini prism 32/22. 22oz
2021 Mizuno F21 Power Carbon. 21.9 0z
I’ve been trying to get ahold of him. On here and through text to order a bat and can’t get a response. I understand sometimes people have personal things come up in life. I just wanted to make sure he’s ok. Maybe there’s someone here who knows him personally. Thanks.
We got a f21 PC and a Prism to demo. My daughter and another team mate of hers LOVED the F21. Sucker swings beautiful and is loud on contact. Looks like I’ll be picking up a new PC. They both loved the Prism too. Just liked the Mizuno a little more.
Going to pick up a F21 PC tomorrow to demo. Daughter is currently swinging a 31/21 CF. I’m really hoping to get her into a 32/22 but might settle for a 32/21 to help keep her bat speed up.
Anyone ever try one? I was going to pick my kid up a new A2000 T125 for outfield work but then I started looking at these. Seem pretty cool. Just not a whole lot out there about them.
Thanks! Yup. I think that’s her issue. She’s always been taught to have her glove down on the ground and it actually causes her to be slower to react to the sides. I will be showing her this and going over it with her.
I think her set position is part of the issue too. She’s on her toes but feet are staggered so I believe some of the issues are in her footwork and stance.
Thanks for the tip. So basically she just reads that chart and has to go through the sequence?
With the tennis balls should she try to catch them with her glove?
