You’re exactly right, i don’t have a dog in the fight & never have considered myself to be involved. I was merely asking for the insight of other parents and coaches as to the situation and how they would handle it. Really, more interested in coaches opinions & how they would address that...
Yes, true. My wife told me about it also. That is why I fought it up here. I wanted to see collectively what the census would be from parents and coaches alike.

I have witnessed the drinking at previous tournaments so i know to the point that it happens. And i didn’t lost this to ask if
I should report it. I was asking to see what others would do, coaches and parents alike.

The organization is just this daddy, and his brother who has an older team. There is no governing body, board, etc. No oversight.

Agreed and that’s what this girl’s parents are doing. It’s just a crappy situation and really fires me up that they’re being disregarded, labeled as liars, and made out to be the enemy. That’s not right. It breaks my heart that the other parents on the team don’t have an issue with any of it...
That is where I’m so torn! I completely understand and agree with you. But if the actual parents involved aren’t reporting it to anyone, then do i get involved? I know that sounds ridiculous to even be contemplating. But like everyone also says, softball is a small community and word travels...
Oh, we are so completely soft! Because you know, they’re winning! Who cares what it takes to get there. HC refuses to address the issue previously and now this has happened. The parents of the one girl who was directly involved are leaving the team, but HC says the players are lying and is...
I am amazed at the number of parents on the team who know about it, have issue with it yet never address it and allow it to continue to happen simply because “hey, we’re winning all the tournaments”. There are other teams in town with much better environments, but medals are valued higher than...
Not part of a larger organization. There are a few in town with the same name as if it’s an organization, but there is no overseeing body or anything of the like.

Would you expect your fees to be refunded due to the nature of the incident? Money has not been spent and was just paid earlier in the day that the incident occurred.

I’m gonna preface this with the fact that this is not a team that I am on! It’s just a scenario I recently became aware of and I’m interested to see how you all feel it should be handled on all aspects: as a parent, as a coach, as a team parent.
Here’s the situation. Recent weekend tournament...
She is so burned after this last weekend, i don’t know that I will ever be able to get her back on the field. When you see the same people every weekend, no matter the team you are on, i can’t say i blame her.
