    Specific recommendations for catcher's mitt, please!

    Hi All! I think my daughter (15yo/18U tournament) may need a new catcher's mitt. She currently has a Vela All-Star CMW3000 33.5 which isn't that old and is still in good condition, HOWEVER, balls tend to pop out of it. I truly THOUGHT it was my daughter just dropping balls (as did her coach)...

    From bench to...

    I am so proud of my 14yo DD. She got off to a really rough start her first JV season and spent a lot of time on the bench. She also missed several games due to a "concussion" (which I think was a CYA kind-of thing by the school). Anyway, she ended the season tonight with the highest OBP (.650)...

    34” Liberty Advanced...good for backup mitt?

    I got it for a steal (I think) at $89. DD uses a CMW3000 but I’m without a glove so I got this to play catch and for her to use if she ever needs a backup.

    Before I buy from Dick’s, does anyone have a lead on a good price for some decent balls? I’d like to get at least 10. I don’t mind buying from Dicks’s or Amazon, but thought I’d check with you pros first :) Thanks so much!!
