Should the lead foot on the stride go further than it was in the stance? Having trouble with my daughter not getting through the ball and hanging back too much on back side. Is there drills for this or will striding out further help maybe taking that step forward
Just got done with tourney today, high of 37 degrees. First time girls played in cold weather. My pitchers had an awful game, they just were not the same pitchers. Does cold effect that much or just an off game for both pitchers. They were dressed right
So my daughter is 11 and I coach our 10u team. She is the big hitter on the team. Worked on batting all winter and looks good. Had our first tournament this weekend and for some reason she wouldn't stride like she normally does. It's her first year on traveling team. Not sure if it's timing or...

So I know falling forward is OK after the swing but my daughter doesn't seem to keep good balance after swing. She has had a good hitting coach help her, the rest of her swing is good and she is crushing the ball. Just don't know how to get her to keep those feet planted. Longer stride? Sge is 11
As a coach and dad having my daughter been through a lot of hitting lessons. Her swing is dialed in pretty good and is crushing the ball. The only thing is she doesn't keep her feet planted after the swing, falls out. Any drills or fixes for that
So I'm the head coach of 10u. First year coaching. I am having some attitude problems with a couple girls, rolling eyes, just bad attitude stuff. I have addresses it with the girls but I am not getting far, any suggestions
Besides pitcher and catcher, where do you guys put your best player? It's c so home plate is closed. My best player has a heck of an arm also. She is a pitcher and I have her play 3rd when not pitching
My 11yo daughter hits good when hitting fast pitches, but when thrown slow front toss she doesn't wait for the pitch and lunges for it or just misses. It's only with slow pitches
My 11 yo daughter has been lunging after balls and not staying back. Is there any drills for this? She is good with fast pitches but the pitches she will see this year will have her lunging and not keeping weight back
My dd is 11 and has a lot of batting lessons and her form seems good. She has a lot of hard hits mostly grounder and low line drives. The problem a lot of time is she swings hard with power but it doesn't transfer to ball. Lots of hits seem weak with a lot of backspin. Not sure why she swings...
