    We are a small school so not cuts. It’s more of trying for Varsity vs JV. Daughter is a Freshman and one of about 4 girls with TB experience. But, our district is big on Seniors play Varsity. Will see.

    We have been looking at this or the Xeno glove and holding on to this Worth glove till she is a bit older.

    Daughter is 14 and was given a Worth Advanced Liberty 1st base glove. Thumb side on the glove is hard for her to control so she keeps going back to her fielding glove. 1st base is her primary area so looking for a easy to break in 1st base glove for a lefty.

    Her goals are to play varsity next year, I think that’s a short years hoal she can get as we are a small school. I know she would like to play college at what ever level she can get into. She loves first base but I get that anyone can play 1st.

    Strength for 8u and 6u players

    I will say at 14 the thing we are working on most is core strength. My 14 yo never did any tumbling but my 11 yo does. Her core is super strong and she is overall faster and stronger than my 14 yo was at that age. My suggestion is tumbling classes to work on core strength and coordination.
